One word to describe him: FEARLESS
Ben is a unique, smart, fun-loving boy who has touched the lives of so many. From his NICU nurses and doctors in his early years, to his therapists, teachers, friends, and of course, family, Ben has made an impact in the lives of many people. He loves to be moving, and especially enjoys being outside, riding his bike & scooter.
His parents share that the most important thing they want him to know in life is how much they love him, and what an inspiration he has been not only to their family but so many others. His mom shares that “he has personally taught me a new meaning to life, and to embrace every day with joy.”
Ben began receiving service from Easterseals when he was 4-years-old, and in that time has received speech therapy, occupational therapy, and ABA services. His parents share that he has had several milestones during his time at Easterseals, “graduating” from the ABA program after making significant strides, and going from being basically nonverbal and speaking using a speech device, to now speaking in sentences where almost all words are clear enough for others to understand.
Through his hard work and determination, Ben has made significant strides and inspired many people. He shows no signs of stopping.
