What began as a once a week clinic in a downtown storefront in Peoria in 1919 has now grown to serve nearly 6,000 children and their families each year from six locations throughout central Illinois. For the last 100 years Easterseals Central Illinois has been an advocate and champion for education, recreation, collaboration and quality of life for children with developmental delays and disabilities in our community.
In life, every person’s story is being written day by day. The same is true of our organization. With the support of the Central Illinois community, Easterseals will continue to grow and improve the lives of families and children with disabilities in new and exciting ways.
