Avery’s Story

Avery loves unicorns, mermaids, playing in the pool, planting fairy gardens, and going on vacation. When she grows up, she wants to be a ballerina.

When asked about their goals for Avery, her parents stated they would love for Avery to be successful in forming meaningful relationships and feel included.

For their family, inclusion means not just being invited, but being appreciated and valued. Empowerment means being given the skills, opportunities and resources to be able to make her life what she wants it to be.
