Banner’s Story

One word to describe him: unique.  Banner is an almost 10 year old boy who loves what he loves.  Super Mario Bros, Harry Potter, Legos, music, trains, animals, gymnastics, bowling and Steve Irwin are just a few of the things he loves.  There is never a dull moment with Banner.  Since he was 4 years old, Banner has said he wanted to be a Ghostbuster when he grows up, and has never wavered.  He is sweet, funny, and knowledgeable about the things he loves.  To his family, inclusion means that Banner is able to do and try things just like anyone else.  He is excited to be entering the 5th grade and getting to learn an instrument.  He has great rhythm, and is able to memorize almost anything.  Banner is empowered because of inclusion.  He is empowered because he isn’t being held back.  Opportunities are presented to him that allow him to learn, explore, and be rewarded by experiencing life.  Banner’s lovable and energetic personality bring a smile to the face of any person lucky enough to get to spend time with him.
